Jerry and Lynn Acton are the custodians of 73 acres of farm and woodland in upstate New York. Originally settled in 1802, our property is now know as Sugar Run Farm.  Our farm is a registered
National Wildlife Federation - Backyard Wildlife Habitat.

These are our goals:

• Provide our animals with a loving home. We presently have 3 horses, 1 dog and 2 cats.
• Foster a rich natural setting that attracts a large variety of birds and wildlife.  We have identified over 100 different species of birds around our property.
• Make our home a place where our visitors experience a sense of peace, tranquility, and joy.
• Leave this land in a better state than when we purchased it.
• Capture our experience in photos and share them as a means of enriching other’s lives with the beauty of nature.
• Inspire the next generation to appreciate nature and care for the environment.
