The robins are making food runs to a nest in our maple tree all day long.  They make a stop at this dead tree on their way.  This is a multi-course meal of one mangled grass-hopper and three honeysuckle berries.  The other day one of them had 6 berries stuffed in its beak.  I put 4 foot fence wire around the tree trunk so our cat doesn't get any ideas about visiting the nest.
