We saw 7 different Snowy Owls (3 males and 4 females) during our 3 days on Amherst Island. Unfortunately all but this one were too far away for photos. They were spread out all over the 4 x 12 mile island. There is no snow on the ground with the mild winter, so the rodent hunting is excellent across the entire island which is mostly cattle grazing land.
