This female Sea Lion was the lightest tan color of the many that were sun bathing on the rocky seawall in Monterey Bay, California. There were lots of Cormorants and Seagulls perched among the Sea Lions.
This female sea lion was swimming in the water along with several others next to the seawall in Monterey Bay, California. Her teeth and nose look much like those of a large dog.

This was the largest of the male California Sea Lions on the seawall. He has a scar around his neck from something he got tangled in at some point in time. Male California Sea Lions can weigh as much as 650 pounds.
This is one of the many female California Sea Lions that were napping along the rocky seawall in Monterey Bay, California. The females can weigh as much as 250 pounds and are lighter brown than the males.
There were several hundred California Sea Lions hanging out on a rocky seawall in Monterey Bay, California. They are migrating south toward San Diego, following the food supply. This male had his nose in the air with his eyes shut as he napped in the afternoon sun.
