Tree Swallows Building Nest - May 4, 2007
Tree Swallows always line their nest with downy white feathers. Getting a 4 inch feather through a 1 inch hole can be a real challenge. I watched this process unfold, and on the fifth try the feather was pulled through shaft first from inside the hole.
