Female Ruby-throated Hummingbird Sitting on Eggs - July 14, 2009

Our neighbors watched a female Hummingbird gathering nesting material over a 3 day span, but could not figure out where she was building the nest. Yesterday they called to say they had accidentally found the nest in a tree in their yard. The nest was swaying wildly in the breeze while mom rested calmly on top of the eggs.
