<p> We have a juvenile female Cardinal visiting regularly to ground feed under the shrubs in our front yard. Here she is in her approach tree straddling two branches with her tail cocked off to the side. Notice that the black in her beak is starting to fade as she gets closer to her adult plumage and reddish-orange beak.</p>
