Juvenile Male Cardinal Ground Feeding - July 25, 2015- Video Attached

I was just starting to wonder when we might see this year's juvenile Cardinals. This afternoon, a juvenile male and female Cardinal showed up with both parents. This is the young male who is already very adept at shelling safflower seeds using his tongue and beak. I toss safflower seeds on our brick walkways specifically to bring in the Cardinals.
