Chickadee - Black-capped

Chickadee - Bird in Hand - Amherst Island - January 30, 2012

While bushwhacking in Owl Woods looking for owls, a Chickadee kept following me around hoping for treats. So I put some seed in one hand and extended my arm full length. With my other hand I held my backup camera with wide angle lens next to my chin guessing on my aim and fired away. He paused for several seconds before grabbing a seed - what a thrill!
