A pair of Mourning Doves regularly wander through the grass in our front lawn looking for the seed I toss on the ground. Several weeks ago a Red-tailed Hawk went after one of the Doves, chasing it across our horse pastures. The dove got away with a tight maneuver into a spruce tree at the bottom of our property.</p>
