Mourning Dove in Crabapple Tree - August 14, 2010
The Mourning Doves have been scarce all summer because we have a resident Sharp-shinned Hawk in the nearby woods. This guy braved a visit to our yard and hung out in our crabapple tree before venturing down to ground feed.
