Male Common Merganser In-flight - March 12, 2011
There were 20+ Common Mergansers swimming near shore at Meyers Point, NY along the East side of Cayuga Lake last weekend. This male took off flying away from me, then did a wing over and came right back by me. They are very fast fliers.
