Eagle - Bald Eagle

Bald Eagle Perched in Old Tree - May 28, 2009

Two men from our local highway department stopped by to tell me there was a Bald Eagle in a tree less than 2 miles away. He was still there when I arrived. Fortunately he flew to a tree closer to the road and I was able to get this shot from my truck. He must be a resident who fishes our local creek. This is my first ever Bald Eagle shot.
