Eagle - Bald Eagle

Immature Bald Eagle in Tree Beside Road - January 27, 2013

I took an Eagle trip with members of the Owego Bird Club group today around the Cannonsville Reservoir and along the east and west branches of the Delaware River. We were pleased to see a total of 18 Bald Eagles: 15 immatures and 3 adults. This immature bird is starting to show some white on his head and the black in the beak is starting to fade.
