Goldfinch in Wild Cherry Tree - July 18, 2014
The Goldfinches cannot swallow the wild cherries whole like the Blue Jays and Catbirds do, but they like to nibble away at the thin layer around the seed. This Goldfinch had just finished snacking on one.
