Juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbird Resting - August 5, 2008
Between visits to the nearby hosta blooms to get nectar, this female Ruby-throated Hummingbird would perch on a bare stick of our vibernum bush. The juvenile plumage looks like that of the adult females.
