Hawk - Red-tailed

Red-tailed Hawk Gliding Through Side Yard - February 20, 2009

I saw a Red-tailed Hawk in a grassy ditch by the side of the road as I was driving south along Cayuga Lake, NY. When I stopped my truck, he flew off and glided through the side yard of a home with the afternoon sun lighting up his beautiful red tail.
