Hawk - Sharp-shinned

Juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk Chasing Bluejays - November 1, 2008

I thought this young Sharp-shinned Hawk was going to fly right into one of our windows this morning as he made a full speed run at a Blue Jay that was eating sunflower seeds. The Blue Jay got away, so the hawk landed in a nearby tree to ponder his next move.
