Junco in Red-twig Dogwood - January 8 2012
The red-twig dogwood bush in front of our house is a favorite stop for the Juncos as they approach the feeder area. They frequently hide in the dense twigs when the Hawk is around. Last time I counted, we had 54 Juncos in the yard, mostly ground feeding.
