Nuthatch - White-breasted

White-breasted Nuthatch with Safflower Seed - April 20, 2014

I put Safflower seed out for the Cardinals every morning since that is their favorite. The seed has been disappearing faster than normal. Now I know why; it is a favorite of the White-Breasted Nuthatch as well. Interestingly, the Red-breasted Nuthatches prefer shelled peanuts.
