Owl - Barred

Juvenile Barred Owl on Perch - July 17, 2013

As I was walking in toward the bog at Chenango Valley State Park, I heard a hissing sound off to the right. I remembered that sound from last year when I visited the juvenile Barred Owls. Two youngsters were perched on separate tree limbs about 20 feet apart.
