<p> I was surprised to see 8 juvenile Ring-necked Pheasants grazing in the grass beside the road at 6:15 this morning. I drove past them as they moved into the brush and stopped my truck to see if they would come back out. They were in constant motion as they came back out to see what I was up to. There was no sign of the adults.</p>
