Flock of Black Skimmers - November 14, 2015
At an inlet in Virginia Beach, a large flock of Black Skimmers were flying around the wharf area. Black Skimmers are crow size birds with long wings. They mostly fly in tight groups anywhere from a few feet off the water up to about 100 feet.
