<p>There are at least 4 active nests at this Great Blue Heron rookery. When I first arrived at this site, 4 Great Blue Herons were standing on the edges of their nests. As soon as they saw me 75 yards away, they all hunkered down onto their eggs in their nests with their heads barely visible.</p>
