Hermit Thrush Visits Yard on Rainy Morning - October 5, 2010

I was enjoying the mix of regular and migrating birds in our front yard when this Hermit Thrush landed on the feeder box right in front of me. Fortunately my camera was pointed in his direction, so I was able to get this photo without spooking him. He only stayed for about 15 seconds before flying off to the woods across the road. This is the second year in a row that I have seen one in our yard when they are migrating South.
