Sharp-shinned Hawk with Catch - March 29, 2013

This morning I heard a loud smash against our dining room window. When I went over to investigate, this Sharp-shinned Hawk was standing over it's catch, a Mourning Dove. The windows haven't been cleaned all winter, so I ventured outside to see if he would let me get some photos. He flew away about 10 feet or so struggling to get just a foot off the ground, and settled in to eat his catch.
