Osprey Showing Off Huge Catch - April 15, 2012

After this Osprey finally gained some altitude with his big catch, he circled around my location giving me a nice opportunity to document his catch. Then he did a very odd thing. Trying to lose the seagulls on his tail he, flew back out over the bay and dove into the water. When he came out of the water, he had lost the fish. He was struggling to gain altitude, so maybe the fish was just too big for him.
