<p>This Garter Snake was sunning himself on a patch of lily pad leaves in the middle of our water garden pond. He had his eye on 3 different young frogs. He stuck his tongue out several times, appearing to be exercising it before a meal. Instead he just slithered into the reeds and slowly disappeared.</p>
